Jodie is the oldest daughter of Jonathan and Susan. She likes to help her parents und her grandmother Catherine. Jodie loves to see everyone happy and rude words and tears let her start crying too, so she wants to stay alone in this moments. The only one who can make her smile again are her best friends Simon and Christy.

But since the death of Catherine even Jodies friends could make her smile again. No one seems to understand her and she wants no one around herself.

Katie loves her life and to spend time with her friends. That´s why she does not come home after school immediatly. She just walks with her girls and Josh to every place they like and not come home until evening.

After that she could fight the whole time with her younger sister Lucy or lay down in the bed of her older sister Jodie.

The conversations with Jodie keep Katie to the ground so she does not loose her head in the clouds. But after the funeral of Catherine Avens Katie gets more and more scared by her older sister, because she does not understand Jodie any longer.

Note: Katie is the one who speaks the beginnings of the episodes. She tells the reader the story.
