The Avens are a happy family in Santa Monica, California.
Jonathan, his wife Susan and their three girls Jodie, Katie and Lucy lives in this place and the girls are different in every way. Katie and Lucy gets mad all the time, while Jodie keeps quite. She is the shy girl who goes for a visit to her grandma every day. Susan would drive her with the car like she does for the other two, but Jonathan likes to see that not all of his girls are little drama queens.
On the other side Susan doesn´t like her oldest to be quiet and shy, because Susan always matter about Jodie. Thinking Jodie would loose the joy of life and gets desperate. And Susan seems to be right… because Jodie has to learn that life does not have only the good and happy times. Everything went by and if you stand still with the ones you lost, you will never let them go…
While Katie and Lucy are trying to find their ways after the funeral of her grandmother Catherine, Jodie feels alone and unable to live on, because somebody is always trying to confuse the young girl… the voices…
